Overview
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is an African lodge-style Resort boasting spacious accommodations that include kitchenettes/kitchens and multi-bedroom units. Featuring over 30 species of wildlife that roam free amidst 4 lush, tropical savannas, the Villas offer you the unique opportunity to observe exotic animals in their natural habitat from special viewing areas throughout the Resort and from the balconies of select Guest rooms.
Jambo House
Set amidst an expansive wildlife preserve, the Resort features authentic African-inspired architecture and the kraal African-village landscape design - a semi-circle design popular in Africa which offers expansive views of the surrounding savannah and its many animal inhabitants. Thatched ceilings, large beams, a woven ceiling, hand-carved golden-tone furnishings, real African artifacts and a vast mud fireplace in the main lobby surround you in the inimitable spirit of Africa. Get up-close glimpses of the animals and a panoramic view of the sprawling grounds at Arusha Rock, an elevated rock platform just outside the main lobby. Discover thousands of indigenous African shrubs and grasses including the most recognized canopy tree of Africa, the copperpod - that paint a picture reminiscent of the unspoiled African grasslands.
Savor authentic African cuisine at 2 award-winning restaurants, Jiko - The Cooking Place and Boma - Flavors of Africa. Enjoy unique animal-themed programs for the whole family and relax in the Uzima pool, an 11,000-square-foot zero-depth entry pool that offers a 67-foot-long slide.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Jambo House has been designated by the Florida Green Lodging Program, recognizing the Resort's environmentally responsible practices.
Kidani Village
The lobby and the Villas of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Kidani Village extend out and take the curlicue shape of a water buffalo's horns. This string of buildings can also be viewed as a piece of native African jewelry, a "necklace" with Villas forming the beads, garden-like walkways creating the "knots" in between, and the main lobby building as the ornament or jewel at its center.
Inside, the Resort features authentic African-inspired architecture and decorations, from hand-carved columns to intricate patterns that adorn the golden-tone furnishings. Tall floor lamps allude to tall, swaying trees, and ornate hanging fixtures appear to overflow with colorful flora and fauna. Thatched ceilings, a woven ceiling, real African artifacts and an arching window in the main lobby revealing the adjacent savanna surround you in the inimitable spirit of Africa.

Pools, Playground & Water Play Area
- Uzima Pool: An 11,000+ square-foot, zero-depth entry pool features a 67-foot long slide, with wading pool and hot tubs.
- Samawati Springs Pool: An approximately 4,700-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool with 128-foot long slide and 2 adjacent hot tubs.
- Hakuna Matata Playground: Nearby 24-hour playground overlooks the flamingo area and the savanna.
- Uwanja Camp Interactive Water Play Area: Includes Observation Station for children ages 4 and younger, Departure Zone for kids ages 5-7, and Base Camp for kids 8 and older.
Massage & Fitness Centers
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas offers 2 well-equipped workout centers that are complementary for Guests staying at the Resort. Spa services require additional fees:

Our concierge is available to Resort Hotel Guests 7 days a week. Located in the main lobby, the concierge can help you purchase Park tickets, make dining reservations and secure show seats.
